The plantar fasciitis hasn't been acting up. Orthotics have been in since December, and apparently have helped.
I just started running again last week. I haven't run since the ToT race back in October. Three runs so far, one mile each. They have gone well. Times were 8:50, 8:05, and 8:07. I've tried not to watch the Garmin. I want to get into a natural pace to start rather than pushing myself for a good time. But the fact that my pace is still down near 8 is a great sign.
I plan to just do short runs for the next week or two and monitor my foot. If all is well, then I'll start building mileage and doing races. I'm already committed to run the 8 mile leg of the Akron marathon this fall. Who knows what else is on the horizon.
