Progress Check

Here we are approximately four months into our year of training and about eight months away from the big race. We have run a quarter of the miles in about one third of the time. This is not a concern to me. I expected from the start that we would get behind to start and then make up the miles later in the year as our training gets more intense. If my calculations are correct there are 231 days left in the year.

I have put in 133.85 miles. I have 375.15 left in my journey. Through the end of the year, I need to average 11.37 miles per week.

Kristin has put in 121.2 miles. She has 387.8 left for the year. Through the end of the year, she has go average 11.75 miles per week.

We do need to start picking up the pace. Neither of us is up to 11 miles per week. In the two weeks so far this month, I averaged 9.3 miles and Kristin averaged 9.05 miles.

We have a lot of work left to reach our goals. I am still confident that we will do it. We are on target to raise over $500.

234 days left until we see this:

Great picture.
Start a long run on a bi weekly basis , and since you 2 are already up to three for short, try 5 -6 miles for the long.
